CHINOS & WINGTIPS... would you wear them together? Have you? Are wingtips too formal? Chinos conversely too casual?
Hi Everyone,
Thanks for tuning into my blog and thank you for waiting for our latest update.... after a long needed vacation, I am back at it looking for new inspirations and insights to make everyday 'ILLER' than that last... :)
CHINOS + WINGTIPS: I personally think this combination look it is a great segway into the cooler last weeks of summer into Fall.... CHECK IT!
A great essential to any man's wardrobe, this type of Brogue shoe (or more correctly, a shoe with multiple-piece, sturdy leather uppers with decorative perforations and serration along the pieces' visible edges) was considered a traditional country shoe however over time its styling and usage lends itself casual wear to full dress entire.
Full brogues or "wingtips" are characterised by a pointed toe cap with extensions (wings) that run along both sides of the toe, terminating near the ball of the foot.Viewed from the top, this toe cap style is "W" shaped and looks similar to a bird with extended wings, explaining the style name "wingtips".

(Brogues are most commonly found in one of four toe cap styles (full or "wingtip", semi-, quarter and longwing) and four closure styles (Oxford, Derby, ghillie, and monk).
Wingtips look great with denim, corduroy, and with CHINO pants... another look to ROCK going forward.
Keep the Chinos fitted (slim-straight) for as you can maintain that versatility from WORK to PLAY....
JUST SAYIN'....
Have a GOOD week!
