BENDING LIGHT

Hope you are all having a great week and getting into some of this great weather we are having...!

This past week saw a couple of typhoons pass thru the Kyushu and Central areas of Japan.

And after each storm, each day was hotter than the last.. great times for getting out amongst the people...

I think I am going to have to start stopping people in the streets and speaking to then about their fashion.. what helps define them. I am choosing my words carefully because I do not think CLOTHES or a DEGREE for that matter defines you but enhances or refines what is already there...

That said, EYEWEAR is another love of mine that has changes from a prescribed care to creative outlets for our imagination. I have worn glasses for years (had corrective surgery) yet still find myself putting frames for the day to change my LOOK.

PLAYFULNESS and SENSIBILITY are all it takes to really enjoy what available (and it does not have to take a paycheque) to do it!

And the choices are ENDLESS - fashion houses (PRADA, DOLCE & GABBANA, TOM FORD) to sports apparel (ADIDAS, OAKLEY, NIKE) to CELEBRITY BRANDS (LISA LOEB... (yeah really!)... yet I digress.

Since we are in the THRALLS of summer

One of my FAVs this year were the PRADA Spring/summer line for 2015. A lot vintage influences (1940s and 50s) without going to far over the line from a CLARK KENT perspective.
